What’s been happening:

Following graduation in 2004, I hired on with BP and moved to Durango, Colorado in order to work as a Facilities Engineer handling gas pipelines and compression in northern New Mexico. In the fall of 2005, immediately after Hurricane Katrina, I moved to Houston, Texas and worked offshore as an Operations Engineer in the Deepwater Gulf of Mexico. I then moved overseas to Baku, Azerbaijan as the Start-up Engineer for the Southern Caucuses Pipeline which caries gas from the Caspian Sea to the European market. I spent most of my time in the country of Georgia working at our BTC and SCP pipeline sites, as well as our office in Tbilisi. Working in the Former Soviet enabled me to develop a proficiency in the Russian language. Since graduating from Penn State, I've had the opportunity to visit and work and live in a variety of different countries including Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, Armenia, Russia, Ukraine, Egypt, Israel, Oman, England, Scotland, France, Italy, Greece and Croatia. Following my adventures overseas, I settled down in Anchorage, Alaska as a Project Engineer for our North Slope Appraise-Stage projects. I now spend my time backpacking, snowboarding, rock climbing and catching plenty of salmon.
